Your First Visit
When you arrive for your first Acupuncture treatment you will be asked to complete a health history intake form. It is best to complete this questionnaire as thoroughly as possible. Some of the questions may seem unrelated to your main concerns but they may play a major role in your diagnosis and treatment plan. Traditional Chinese Medicine treats the body as a whole and takes everything into account.

After reviewing your intake form, we will discuss your condition and I will determine a TCM diagnosis. At this point, we will start your first Acupuncture treatment! I will choose specific Acupuncture points to treat your ailments. 

Once the needles are inserted, you'll relax for 20-40 minutes with the needles in place. Many people find Acupuncture treatment deeply relaxing, and it is not uncommon for patients to fall asleep during this time.
